Fabulous in every way! We arrived in beautiful Lorne, went for a walk after settling in & found this buzzing restaurant… thinking, there’s no chance but still tried our luck on a busy Friday night, the staff were extremely accommodating and SO lovely! The waiter scanned the restaurant, found a couple who were leaving and said we could have a table. YAY Whilst waiting (not long at all) all the staff were so genuine & friendly, checking that we were ok & being seen to. When we got our lovely table outside, the waiter & waitress were so lovely. The drinks were really good, the food…. INCREDIBLE!!!! The scallops WOW, the taramasalata WOW, the best we’ve ever had! Our mains were so tasty, a yummy meatball special & the mussels with orzo were fantastic. The lemon curd desserts were also really amazing! We had espresso martinis to finish the evening and so many places get this wrong, but they were perfect!!! Not too sweet and a really delicious taste So very impressed! Coming from London, we have soooo many nice restaurants around us and HIGHLY recommend this one in stunning Lorne Thank you for a great evening IPOS team xx

If you are planning a trip to Lorne, dining at Ipsos is an absolute must - recommend booking ahead. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, but it was the exceptional service and top-tier food that truly made the night. A massive shout out to Max, who looked after us throughout the evening. His service was seamless, warm, and professional - he knew the menu inside out and guided us on menu items to compliment our choices. It’s rare to find service this polished yet genuinely friendly. The grilled kefalograviera with apricot puree and the slow cooked lamb shoulder are a must!! Ipsos isn't just a meal, it's a full experience. Between Max’s hospitality and the kitchen’s mastery of Greek flavors, this is easily the best dining spot in Lorne. We’ll be dreaming of that cheese and lamb until our next visit!

We love Ipsos Lorne after having our second dinner there and would go there for the next two nights but they’re not open. Wonderful food, wine list, service and ambience. Five stars isn't enough for the incredible experience we had at IPSOS Restaurant & Bar. This family-owned spot in Lorne is a must-visit! The food is simply sublime. We couldn't get enough of the tender calamari, delicious scallops, and the amazing potatoes. The saganaki was a crowd-pleaser, and the taramasalata dip was so good we almost ordered another. Everything, from the Greek wine to the refreshing mocktails, was perfect. The warm, inviting atmosphere made the night even more special. Highly recommend!
I had an unforgettable experience at this Greek wine bar. The scallops were absolute perfection – sweet, delicate, and served beautifully in their shells with a light dressing that enhanced their natural flavor without overpowering it. Each bite was tender, buttery, and fresh, a true reminder of the sea. Paired with a glass of crisp tsipouro, the combination was sublime – the spirit cut through the richness of the scallops, balancing everything on the palate. Even the simple sides, like the warm bread and peppery olive oil, felt thoughtfully chosen to complement the dish. Great service, great food. Great atmosphere. Really loved the saganaki. Enjoyed the scallops. The lamb shoulder is their specialty. It was good. The green salad was fresh. The fig leaf sorbet was so refreshing. Would have loved to see some dried mini figs on the side.Would highly recommend and would definitely return.
